STEEL MATERIAL
We handle integrated raw material collection, processing and distribution for steel materials
We can provide users home and abroad with a stable supply at a cost and quality suitable for the market needs.
We carry out collection, sorting, and processing of iron scrap generated from shipyards, automobile manufacturers, and more. We also process iron scrap generated from dismantled buildings and such into steelmaking raw material.
Iron scrap is an important resource in Japan, a country where natural resources are scarce. It is supplied to steel manufacturers that use it to make new steel products that are delivered to the market.
Our company is committed to realizing a sustainable, circular society through steel recycling.
Features of major domestic factory
Kansai area
- Osaka branch
We are the first processing plant in the Company. Thanks to our advantageous location, we can receive rapidly dismantled property and generated materials from the city and neighboring locations.
Also, taking advantage of our superior processing ability of 1,250 tons New Guillo, we are capable of responding to a wide range of customer needs. - Higashi-Osaka Branch
Located in the Kano industrial park, the factory can operate 24-hours a day. The second plant is also located nearby, which enables us to carry out proactive sales promotion of non-ferrous scrap.
In recent years, we have carried out significant renovation of the yard layout to achieve labor-saving and production system efficiency. - Yao Branch
Although primarily a specialized plant for malleable rolls for foundry manufacturers, we also serve as a key stockyard in the Kansai region by effectively utilizing our expansive site. In addition, we handle large gas-cut materials and meet strict quality requirements with our in-house spectrographic analysis equipment. - Nanko Branch
Located in Osaka South Port, our facility enables vessel loading of up to 1,200 tons directly from our own quay. We provide both domestic and international transportation by land and sea, actively handling non-ferrous and ferrous scrap materials.
Kanto area
- Tokyo Bay
With a site area of 7,500 tsubo, this hybrid facility features a processing yard equipped with a 2,000-ton large guillotine and a private quay capable of accommodating vessels up to 30,000 tons. Facing Tokyo Bay, it serves as FUWA Metal’s largest yard, supplying steel scrap both domestically and internationally, while also handling imported scrap and large base materials such as guillotine-cut and gas-cut steel. - Ichikawa Branch
With a total lot area of approximately 2500 square meters, our optimal location allows us to supply not only to Kanto area manufacturers, but also globally across the world.
Our 24-hours operation open yard realizes heavy machinery mobility. - Saitama Branch
Located in the heart of the Kanto region, we are ideally positioned to supply both inland and coastal manufacturers. Among our branches, we handle the largest volume of non-ferrous metals and scrap containing non-ferrous materials, while actively promoting the recycling of all renewable resources. - North Kanto Branch
As the collecting and processing base in the northern Kanto area, we handls supply to inland manufacturers, and acts similarly to the Saitama Branch as a satellite yard to complement the Ichikawa and Tokyo branches. We make positive efforts to acquire dismantled property from the inland and further enhance our business. - West Tokyo Branch
Located in the western part of the Kanto region, we are well-positioned to supply inland and coastal manufacturers as well as shippers. We collect scrap from demolition projects and factory-generated materials across Saitama and Tokyo, as well as Gunma, Kanagawa, and Yamanashi prefectures. Our operations focus on the western Kanto area, where rapid response is often challenging for other branches. - Utsunomiya Branch
Located in the northern Kanto area with excellent access to the Tohoku Expressway and Kita-Kanto Expressway, our service area extends as far north as Fukushima, covering nearly all of northern Kanto. This strategic position strengthens our network with other branches and enables us to establish a comprehensive logistics framework for operations across the entire Kanto region. - Tokyo Branch(Funabashi Yard)
Located at Funabashi Central Port, one of Japan’s leading ports for steel scrap exports, we serve as a key hub for Kanto’s export operations. Our private quay accommodates large vessels with a maximum loading capacity of 20,000 tons, enabling us to ship to distant destinations such as Bangladesh and India in recent years.
